The Mountain of Desolutes (Description)

Mountains of Desolutes are actually protruding rocks which are the aftermath various craters, five to be exact which have slowly amassed into one whole mountain. Even after this fact it's kept it's name of "'Mountains' of Desolutes". 
It is said that the craters themselves are the creation of a deadly attack which won the coup many hundreds of years ago lead by the group who referred to themselves as The Legion against their tyrannical king  "Supreme-ruler Sabourus Haister". It is said the attack was so powerful that thousands died on both sides of the war.
The Mountains of Desolutes have steep falls and dangerous avalanches. Walking on this terrain is advised against if you aren't up for the challenge or are a weakling.


The bottom half of the mountain is constantly battered by an unknown source of heat. And it is surrounded by an almost desolate terrain of sole hard mahogany dirt and rock. Although almost desolate a few viscous beings called New-breeds do call the place home, living in some of the various caves located in the mountains.
These creatures are six feet in size and have a humanoid lizard hybrid like appearance. Their tails can crush boulders if swung and their scales are tough enough to withstand extreme heat and an attack from a weak blade. They have golden irises and sharp claws capable of shredding skin with ease.


Towards the top half of the mountain this enormous terrain of rock is constantly battered by sporadic snow storms which plague it on a daily bases. As a result the usual mahogany dirt and tough stone of the mountain is blanketed by soft pure white snow. Naked leafless trees can randomly be seen in various parts of the terrain offering little shade from the rare sunlight which hits the area. The temperatures in this area can reach a freezing -10.
